Clarksville Rapper Killed this weekend

At about 6:15 a.m., Hashim Moorman, 28, was found in front of 2058 Tynewood, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Officer Jim Knoll.

Moorman was taken by ambulance to Gateway Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.

A neighbor called 911 when he saw Moorman lying in the front yard.

Police believe there was a confrontation between Moorman and someone he knew, who stabbed him multiple times then fled.

Police said this afternoon they have a suspect in the case. That suspect had not been named as of Sunday night.

Moorman did not live at the residence, Knoll said.

Records show his most recently listed address was an apartment at 830 Peachers Mill Road.

According to his MySpace profile, Moorman was born in Camden, N.J., and started HSM Productions while still a freshman in high school.

He released his first LP, “Haasology 101,” in 2005, along with LPs he produced for two other artists. Moorman recently released a second LP, titled “Z&H Dedication,” with Zen Epick of Clarksville.

Moorman is survived by his wife and three young daughters, according to Epick.
