ICE CUBE: N.W.A Live Reunion

Ice Cube will reunite with the surviving members of N.W.A later this month for a one-night-only performance in Los Angeles. The upcoming bio-pic, Straight Outta Compton, has revived interest in the pioneering group.

Cube, MC Ren and DJ Yella will hit the Staples Center stage in Los Angeles as part of the BET Experience concert series. Curiously enough, Dr. Dre's name was not mentioned as part of the reunion, which has led some to speculate he won't appear alongside the group. Eazy-E, of course, died in 1995.

Ice Cube hyped the event, saying, “We’re gonna be there with Snoop, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, it’s just gonna be one of those ‘I wish I were in L.A. nights.’”

The BET Experience at L.A. Live concert series will take place between June 25th and 28th. Nicki Minaj, Kevin Hart, Bell Biv Devoe, The Roots and others are also scheduled to perform. (Rolling Stone)

    If the performance goes well, they could go on tour and possibly even get back in the studio.

    No hologram Eazy E?

    They reunited back in 2000 for the Up in Smoke Tour, with Snoop Dogg filling in for Eazy E.
