Why bother getting married? Half of all marriages end anyway. Did my thesis on sustaining a marriage and the question most people could not answer in a survey was "what's the ultimate reason for getting married (i.e. legalized, government sponsored companionship via contractual obligation)? I say this b/c had he not been married would anyone care?
