A mother was robbed at gunpoint during a home invasion in south Nashville on Sunday night.
Police said the mother and her four children had just gotten to their home on Wharton Drive around 11 p.m. when two men wearing ski masks and carrying guns approached the mother outside.
"It was right after the Superbowl we drove over to there and my kids went up the steps and I had keys to the house," said Sharonda Waters. "They just ran right here and made me get down right there."
The men stole several items, including a TV, before fleeing the scene in a gold vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet Impala.
While she couldn't get a good look at their faces, Waters believes the men were speaking in a different language that wasn't familiar to her.
Fortunately, no one was hurt, but neighbors are on edge about this attack.
"This is scary," said Tanari Brown. "If it can happen to her, it can happen to me."
Waters said the men stole her keys, so she hasn't been able to drive her car.
She will be changing the locks now to her house, though she said she probably won't be staying at her home for the next couple of nights.
No arrests have been made.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
