REPORT REASSESSES AFRICAN-AMERICAN POPULATION

The Latino population boom has gotten a lot of attention, but a new report from B-E-T based on Census Bureau data reveals that the black population is growing 34 percent faster than the population as a whole. The report, titled "African Americans in 2010," also shows that black Americans are more well off and more suburban than previously thought. Tallies for the 2010 Census numbers are expected to show that there are about 50-million Latinos in the U-S and roughly 42-million African-Americans. The report also revealed:

Black households making more than 75-thousand dollars have increased 47 percent in the last five years -- 50 percent faster than the general population. If current trends continue, by 2015 more than half of all black Americans will live in the suburbs.

RAY-J: Addresses Young Buck Gay Claims

Ray-J is denying claims made by former For the Love of Ray-J cast member Monica "Danger" Leon that Ray was in a longtime gay romance with rapper Young Buck. Brandy's little brother told a Virginia radio station, "I didn't return her calls for the last two [or] three weeks. So she threatened to say 'I'm going to tell people you're gay!' She went along and actually did it! I'm not gay, but I got love for gay people because I work with gay people -- girls and dudes. I'm comfortable with my sexuality." --

Kenny Asks:

** Danger's unstable reputation precedes her, and she recently lost custody of her newborn daughter. Does she have any credibility here?

** Have you ever been accused of being gay? How did you handle it?

EMPLOYMENT: Dismal Scene for Black Male Teens

More than half of black males between the ages of 16 and 19 are unemployed, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. And that's only counting those actively looking for work.

Academics believe fewer than 14 in 100 young black men actually have jobs.

Even in black households with incomes between 100-thousand and 150-thousand dollars a year, only 28 in 100 young black men have jobs.

Washington, D-C, has the worst teen employment rate in the country, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Experts say teenage employment leads to higher high school graduation rates, steadier and higher-paying employment down the road, and lower rates of criminal activity.

Lots of teens don't really want/understand the value in working and earning money. Whether you are from the projects or from the suburbs chances are that you are listening to music and a part of the western culture that says "I'm a Hustler" or television shows like "My Super Sweet 16" that says that certain people don't have to work or that if you work then you're a nobody. Rapper 50 Cent's current single states "have a baby by me baby...be a millionaire." And with this new mentality it eliminates the need for young people to work or even have a desire to put forth a work ethic. This teaches that "real men" can make women rich because they are hustlers and "women" can become wealthy by sleeping with guys that appear to have money. These false teachings are ruining the work ethic and overall culture of our youth, thus severely impacting the high statistical unemployment rate amongst young blacks. IMO

I don't know what Sisquo was thinking when he agreed to do this. Maybe he needs some publicity. I want to thank him though; he has a nice butt!!!!
