Former Hi-Five R&B Singer Faces Murder Charges

Former Hi-Five R&B singer, Russell Neal, turned himself into Houston police on July 2 surrounding the death of his 24 year old wife. Russell first reported that his wife had died in an apartment fire but after further investigation it was found the Neal's wife had several stab wounds and blunt force trauma to the head.

Russell was initially questioned by police when he turned himself in but after he was read his Miranda rights, refused to answer anymore questions without his lawyer being present. However, Neal did say that he and his wife had been arguing before her death.

Neal Russell in being held on $100,000 bond.
