NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Cummins Inc. will bring hundreds of new jobs to Nashville. The company, which makes large engines, will announce Thursday morning plans to locate a call center in the Two Rivers Corporate Center off McGavock Pike.

The center will employ more than 200 people and take calls from Cummins customers around the country.

The announcement brings good news to an area hard hit by flooding. The Two Rivers Corporate Center is just a few feet away from the Gaylord Opryland Resort. The hotel closed and had to lay off more than 2,700 employees after it was heavily damaged by flood waters.
