Drake, Jill Scott and Run DMC have been added to the roster of the inaugural Budweiser Made in America Festival, curated by Jay-Z. The three new headliners will hit the stage on the second day of the showcase, taking place September 1-2. Gary Clark Jr. has also been tapped for the festival, and will play on opening day.
D'Angelo, Janelle Monae and Maybach Music's Rick Ross, Meek Mill and Wale are among the previously announced acts slated to perform at the Budweiser Made in America Festival. The special event will take place across three stages on Philadelphia's Benjamin Franklin Parkway, and feature nearly 30 artists, also including Santigold, Rita Ora and Odd Future.
Proceeds from the event will help local chapters of the United Way improve the education, income and health of the needy in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York City.
