After thought!!!!  You don't have to place the hoodie on your head so that it makes you look like the "grimm reaper".  You can place the hoodie on your head in such a manner that your face can be seen by everyone in passing.

Do you look suspicious...no. However, knowing how our Black boys and men are perceived, I would caution against it, for the same reason I don't wear jeans on a job interview. As the mother of two sons, one 17 and 13, my  husband and I are constantly cautioning our sons against putting their hands in their pockets and/or wearing their hood unless it's raining, sadly, for the very reason that Travon Martin lost his life.  It's no secret that our black males are always targeted as suspicious; trying to get our boys to understand this is maddening and frightening at the same time.

I work for metro and answer 911/862-8600 and u wouldn't believe the calls we get of people just walking about their business but the person calling think they are up to no good. Damn shame!!

No you don't look suspicious...you look like you need a hug! LOL But on a serious tip, I agree with Karen that basically it's the mischief that has been conducted in the "hoodies" that now makes folks look suspicious in context when wearing them.

No you don't look suspicious to want to kill you.  BUT I'm just don't get this pulling the hood up and lowering your head  thing the way some of these kids do.  To me, a hooded jacket such as the one you're wearing is for cool days where a coat is not needed.  If you head is cold, put on a cap/hat.  You may call this fashion, I don't.

No you look like you just cold.  Mr Martin death was an uneccessary killing... We must continue to pray and lift up these senseless killings because GOD shall and will prevail.   Continue to pray that this family and community receives JUSTICE

Nashville lets cease fire and bring back the old days of it takes a village to raise a child

PRAY without Ceasing  PEACE

No. That man just wanted to kill a black person. I believe it would not have mattered if it was a boy or a girl. Prayers are going out to the family. JESUS has already worked it out for them.

Nope!! Not suspicious enough to shoot and kill you.
