DMX's Wife happy out his arrest? WOW!!!

Talk about low expectations -- DMX's ex-wife Tashera Simmons says she was glad to hear that he'd been busted for DUI in South Carolina on Friday. She tells Radar Online, “It’s nice to know he’s alive and not on a drug binge somewhere."

Tashera claims that prior to his arrest, X had “blown off” a child support court hearing on Thursday, in which he was supposed to answer for the back support he owes for their four children.

Still, Tashera says she's hoping the arrest will be a wake up call for X. “I hope he gets the help he needs, because his children and I need him to man up and be a father."

As we reported Friday, X's camp insists that he wasn't charged with DUI.
