Wale Kicked off his Flight

Wale says he was kicked off a New York-bound American Airlines flight on Tuesday night for talking on his cell phone. He tweeted, “Got put off the plane for having my phone on. It was off. Honestly.”

Wale says the incident took place as his plane was readying to leave Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. A rep declined the Washington Post's request for comment, but did confirm that that a flight from Atlanta to New York was diverted to Raleigh-Durham because of two disruptive passengers.
