COLD FEET, WARM HEARTS

When a groom got cold feet and cancelled the wedding at the last minute, the bride’s family had an amazing reaction. 

Most of the $35,000 wedding had already been paid for and it was too late to cancel on many of the services. They had a venue and food that they needed to use or lose. So the bride’s family used it in the best way possible.

They invited some of the city’s homeless population to the banquet room at the Citizen Hotel in Sacramento, California, to enjoy a wedding feast that included appetizers, salad, pasta, salmon and steak.

Understandably, the bride was too upset to attend, but her mom was happy that she could make something positive out of an awful situation.

"I feel a lot of heartache and heartbreak for her, but I will take away something good from this. I will," she said. (Cosmo)
