Ciara Talks Pregnancy...

Shortly after announcing her pregnancy on The View and becoming a trending topic on Twitter, Ciaraspoke candidly with Huffington Post Live about expecting her first child with her fiance, Future.

"It really is a blessing, it's the most exciting time of my life," she said. "Just everything that's been happening, I received a lot of love."

When asked if she's wondered what motherhood will be like, CiCi beamed, "I have no idea but I'm excited, I'm really excited."

Ciara added that she already knows the sex of the child and revealed that she initially had an idea of if she wanted a boy or girl.

"I had a preference at first and when I was told what it was, it was actually...I feel like its going to be what its supposed to be," she said before admitting that child's gender was different than what she anticipated. "My fiance got what he wanted."

"Its really a sweet time," the singer said of getting engaged last October. "I think that in life and love, it's better when you don't plan."

The singer also said the bundle of joy will not delay her sixth studio album, which she's been working on since Thanksgiving. "I'm in the most comfortable creative space that I've ever been in and I will be giving my fans something really soon," she said.

Ciara also spoke about inspiring women through her DO:MORE journey to the 2014 Grammy awards, wanting to collaborate with Janet Jackson, her upcoming wedding, maternity style and being inspired byMichael Jordan. To watch the full interview, visit HuffingtonPost.com.
