The fiscal cliff issue may be at least temporarily off the table, but there's still plenty of drama on Capitol Hill. After House Speaker John Boehner decided not to vote on a bill to provide more relief for those states hit by superstorm Sandy, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie went off on the House and Boehner.
After the public shaming, Boehner seemingly changed his tune and said Wednesday that the House will vote on Friday for one of two packages designed to provide relief for those states hit hardest by Sandy.
The Senate passed a similar bill to help those states last week, and Christie said he was given "assurances" that Congress would "get done" with it as late as 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, but it never happened.
Kenny Notes: That Boehner is a special kinda guy! These guys will politicize anything. People like this should not be at the highest seats of power...
