The Secret Life of Pets slimed Ghostbusters at the box office. The animated flick was the number-one movie for a second straight weekend, earning 50.6 million and taking its total to 203 million. Ghostbusters opened in second with 46 million. Though the big-budget flick is off to a mediocre start, it was Melissa McCarthy’s highestgrossing debut ever. The Legend of Tarzan dropped from second to third with 11.1 million. Finding Dory went from third to fourth with 11 million. With 445.5 million, it is now the highest-grossing animated release in history. Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates fell from fourth to fifth with 7.5 million.
