If you're waiting for Bill Cosby to address those rape allegations, you're going to be waiting a long time.
The star's lawyer has released a statement saying Cosby will be keeping mum on the subject. On BillCosby.com, attorney John P. Schmitt says, "Over the last several weeks, decade-old, discredited allegations against Mr. Cosby have resurfaced. The fact that they are being repeated does not make them true. Mr. Cosby does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment. He would like to thank all his fans for the outpouring of support and assure them that, at age 77, he is doing his best work. There will be no further statement from Mr. Cosby or any of his representatives."
Cosby -- whose appearance on Letterman was reportedly cancelled amid the backlash -- also refused to talk about the charges during an NPR segment that aired over the weekend.
One of his accusers, however, has no problem talking about the allegations. Barbara Bowman wrote about being allegedly assaulted by the actor in a column for the Washington Post this weekend.
The allegations resurfaced when comedian Hannibal Buress brought them up last month during a stand up set.
