AL ROKER: Guinness Record Holder for Longest Weathercast

Al Roker got his name into the Guinness Book of World Records this morning after completing his "Rokerthon," a 34-hour-long, uninterrupted weather report. 

Roker, understandably tired and struggling to speak, broke the previous official record of 24-hours and also used it as a fundraiser to benefit the USO. A representative from Guinness presented him with the official world record certification. He then received a phone call from Vice President Joe Biden congratulating him and also thanking him for helping the USO.
