Bank Robbed in Germantown Area

Officers with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department are investigating a bank robbery in the Germantown area (North Nashville)

Approximately eight to 10 police cruisers surrounded the Regions Bank on Rosa Parks Boulevard/8th Avenue around 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police said the robber presented a teller with a demand note. Once he got the cash, he fled on foot.

No weapon was displayed, and no one was hurt.

A suspect description was not immediately released, but police said they would release surveillance images soon.
