Two of B.B. King's daughters believe their late father's death was a homicide and allege that his business manager and personal assistant poisoned him.
Homicide detectives in Las Vegas are investigating the allegations after Karen Williams and Patty King filed an affidavit claiming his manager, LaVerne Toney and assistant Myron Johnson poisoned him to expedite his failing health. Toney happens to be the executor of King's will. In the affidavit, the women say their father was administered foreign substances and was murdered. Meanwhile, an attorney for King's estate calls the allegations ridiculous saying, "I hope they have a factual basis that they can demonstrate for their defamatory and libelous allegations."
The coroner's office performed an autopsy on King on Sunday, but the results could take up to eight weeks. (Entertainment Weekly)
