APPLE: 200,000 Sign Petition Complaining About iPhone 7

The iPhone 7 doesn’t exist yet, but that doesn’t mean people aren’t complaining about it. In fact, more than 200,000 people have signed a petition unhappy with Apple’s rumored decision to drop the standard headphone jack in the next version of its smartphone.

While it may seem ridiculous to complain about something that is only a rumor, the talk seems to follow Apple’s past. Remember the company dropped floppy drives and then CD/DVD drives from Mac computers and it changed the size of the charging port in iPhones and iPads.

Apple fans fuming about the possibility of the standard headphone jack disappearing, with the author of the petition claiming that company’s motivation for the move is greed, adding “with virtually no third-party manufactures ready to fill the new market gap” Apple will cash in big time.
