ADELE: Denies Rejecting Beyonce’s Duet Request

Adele recently got the #BeyHive buzzing when she allegedly shot down Beyonce’s request to join forces and do a duet together.

But it's not true, at least not according to the blue-eyed soul singer. She’s heard the stories going around the 'Net that Beyonce has been bugging her for a year to get together and collaborate -- and says they’re all made up.

During an appearance on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show, she attempted to set the record straight. She said, “There’s a rumor going ‘round that I turned Beyonce down. Which I would never be so disrespectful as to do. I’d never disrespect her like that.” She also pledged her allegiance, saying, “Obviously, like, Queen B ’til the day I die” (NME) Talk About It:

Epic doesn’t describe how huge an Adele and Beyonce collaboration would be.

They shouldn’t team up -- I don’t know if the world is ready for it.

They’re such big stars on their own. Would they be able to share the spotlight?

You’d have to be crazy to turn down a chance to collaborate with Beyonce.

There’s a lot of pressure and hype to live up to when working with Beyonce. Maybe she wanted to avoid all that, at least for now.
