Lil' Scrappy is using his music to address social issues.
With the George Zimmerman trial for the alleged murder of Trayvon Martin on everyone's mind, the Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta rapper dropped a "Trayvon Martin" track to make sure no one forgets the teen who was gunned down soon after his 16th birthday.
The song sounds like a Southern club banger with lyrics written from Martin's perspective, and it touches on the circumstances of his death. The hook goes, "I'm Trayvon Martin, I'm Trayvon Martin, I'm Trayvon Martin, in a hoodie/ I can walk anywhere I want/ Don't shoot me, I can do anything I want."
