Actress Stacey Dash didn’t let up throughout the election after publicly displaying her support of Republican candidate Mitt Romney.
Even after the votes were in and the results were official, she extended another bout of her opinions, this time in a 1,300-word essay to TMZ.
Now that it’s all said and done, she’s ready to express her absolute disdain for the harsh criticism and words she’s gotten from fellow Americans.
“Perhaps I publicly endorsed Romney from a slightly naive place, thinking that I could speak my voice without being criticized in such racially charged and hateful tones,” Stacey said in the letter. “People get it wrong. My vote for Romney isn’t a vote against Obama. That’s not how full participants in the democratic process operate. We vote for candidates and we vote for issues.”
Umm, er, Stacey, it could be argued very strongly that a vote for Romney IS a vote against Obama. But we’ll leave it alone and keep it moving.
Ok, so she may or may not have a valid point, but that doesn’t mean the “Clueless” actress made much more sense throughout the rest of her letter, that ran off on tangents, completely disconnected to the topic at hand.
Somewhere along the line, she started talking about an old lady, a super market, and even referred to herself in the third person.
Ultimately, it wasn’t ever a big deal who Stacey Dash endorsed because....
1. She’s got very little influence,
2. Her career is… dead,
3. She has proven, via this letter, she’s not the sharpest tool in the shed
4. Prediction: After this moment, we won’t hear from or see her doing anything political again
THE END!
