Contemporary R&B artist Macy Gray released her version of Stevie Wonder's classic 1973 LP Talking Book today.
She says the album was "hugely influential" to her while growing up and calls her recording of it a "birthday present" to Wonder. She adds, "It's a deeply felt and sincere homage to a masterful project by a truly legendary performer."
The album spun off a pair of pop Top 10s -- "Superstition" and "You Are the Sunshine of My Life." But she's chosen a different track for her big promotional TV appearance: Gray will perform her version of "Tuesday Heartbreak" tomorrow (Wednesday) night on Jay Leno's Tonight Show.
