ROBIN ROBERTS: Successful Bone Marrow Transplant

“Good Morning America” host Robin Roberts has reached out to her fans. In a taped message, she said yesterday's successful bone-marrow transplant is a “journey is as much about the mind as it is the body. Your thoughts are so powerful. You’ve got to change the way you think in order to change the way you feel. And let me just say this lastly, I feel the love and I thank you for it.”
51-year-old Roberts is being treated for a rare blood disorder (only 18,000 people a year are diagnosed). She underwent a week-long chemotherapy session to prepare for the transplant. Her sister, Susan, is the donor.
