R. Kelly Jumps Ship on Love Letter Cruise

R. Kelly's Love Letter cruise won't be leaving the dock.

Fans had been looking forward to the five-day trip that was to include two shows from Kellz, but he tells TMZ.com that he's jumping ship because organizers couldn't come up with the cash they'd promised. A rep for the singer tells TMZ, "R. Kelly had been looking forward to the cruise and was ready, willing and able to perform for fans. He is sorry for any disappointment but plans to see his fans very soon on a U.S. tour."

The Love Letter cruise had been slated to set sail in October, traveling from Miami to the Caribbean. TMZ reports that Concerts Cruise LLC promises to "handle all applicable refunds at point of purchase."
