ALICIA KEYS: Proud of Who She Is

Alicia Keys isn't worried about all those "home wrecker" accusations swirling around her and Swizz Beatz. She recently told the U-K's Telegraph, "People don't know me for whatever silly rumor or lie they heard... From the beginning, I've had to juggle and weigh the silly things people say -- and I've learned that they're meaningless and they're mostly inaccurate. So I don't worry about it... I know exactly the person that I am and I feel very proud of who that person is."

The New York Post recently reported that Keys and Beatz are looking to buy a multi-million-dollar home near Gracie Mansion, the official residence of New York mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Melanie Fiona is on Tour With Alicia Keys

Melanie Fiona has signed on as an opening act on Alicia Keys' Freedom tour this spring. Fiona tells V-H-1, "I've admired Alicia Keys since before I got into the music industry, just everything she represents as a female artist. I feel like us collaborating on a tour is going to be really strong, really empowering, and what a great show, so I'm really excited."

Things are going well for the Guyanese newcomer -- her single "It Kills Me" is at number-one on Billboard's R-&-B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and has earned her a Grammy nomination.

The Freedom tour kicks off February 28th in Montreal.
