SAT, JUNE 9- THE FOOTBALL RIVALRY "RUBBER MATCH"- NASHVILLE STORM VS. ROCKET CITY TITANS

There may not be a more evenly-matched football rivalry in America than the newly-minted but fiercely-contested rivalry between the Nashville Storm and Huntsville,  AL’s Rocket City Titans. Each team has won 2 games apiece, and the aggregate score of the 4 Storm-Titan games has been Nashville Storm 105- Rocket City Titans 104----- a 1-point margin for the Storm over 4 games. The Titans also hold the distinction of being the only team that has defeated the Nashville Storm in Nashville since the 2008 season, while the Nashville Storm ARE THE ONLY TEAM TO HAVE EVER DEFEATED THE TITANS IN HUNTSVILLE---- and the Storm have done it twice.
 
ON SATURDAY NIGHT, JUNE 9, SOMEONE’S BREAKING THE “TIE”.
 
THE PLACE- Buster Boguskie Stadium at Stratford High School (1800 Stratford Avenue, Nashville, TN 37216).
 
THE TIME- Saturday night, June 9, Admission Gate opens at 6 PM, Kickoff at 7 PM.
 
THE ENTERTAINMENT- DJ Lil Les and the lovely ladies of the Nashville Storm Lady Lightning Dance Team. THERE WILL ALSO BE INFLATABLE BOUNCEHOUSES AND GAMES FOR THE KIDS IN ATTENDANCE, and there is a rumor that a 250-pound so-called adult may give the inflatables a try as well. The Storm are also negotiating with multiple local High School Bands to do performances at this game as well.
 
YOUTH FOOTBALL NIGHT- The Nashville Storm will be writing out 2 $250 sponsorship checks to 2 youth football programs (one in the MSYFL and one in the TYFA). The winners of the sponsorships in each league WILL BE THE TEAM IN EACH LEAGUE THAT BRINGS THE MOST YOUTH FOOTBALL PLAYERS IN THEIR JERSEYS AND CHEERLEADERS IN UNIFORM TO THE GAME (since the Storm gives free admission to all kids aged 0-14, all of these youth players and cheerleaders will, of course, get in the game free of charge).
 
THE FOOD- Christie Claybrooks-Flenoy will be grilling the best charcoal-grilled burgers, hot dogs, and polish sausages in Nashville (with no food item costing more than $3.25) like she’s been doing at every Nashville Storm home game since 2008, and Storm vendor Darlene Hannah of Jehovah Jireh Bakery and catering service will be bringing the “sweet stuff”- this lady’s cupcakes and brownies are LEGENDARY. We’ll have sno-cones and cotton candy as well. BRING YOUR APPETITE!
 
THE COST-  Adult admission $10.00, kids aged 0-14 GET IN FREE. There is abundant parking available on the Stratford premises, ALSO FREE OF CHARGE.
