For its second November installment of Regions Free Day, Regions Bank is partnering with Nashville Zoo to offer free admission to active military personnel, military veterans and their immediate families during Military Appreciation Day on Sunday, Nov. 13.
Military Appreciation Day is part of a yearly effort by Regions to honor current and former military members for the sacrifices they have made while in service to our country. In addition to regular Zoo activities, guests can enjoy special keeper talks and a children’s fun zone featuring bounce houses and interactive games. Military support organizations will also be onsite during the event.
Additionally, during the event, AT&T will be sponsoring free rides on the Wild Animal Carousel for those who show military IDs at the Carousel, and the Tennessee Environmental Council will be giving away 100 free trees.
To gain free admittance during the Zoo’s normal operational hours from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., visitors must show their military ID, veteran organization ID, discharge papers or an alternate form of official military identification. There is a $5 parking fee per vehicle. Nashville Zoo offers a $1 off admission to all military personnel and their families throughout the year.
Regions Free Day is an annual initiative offering complimentary access to area blockbuster attractions or events. Regions Bank’s program allows Middle Tennessee residents to explore the fun and unique attractions Nashville has to offer at little or no cost.
