A 2-HOUR TELEVISION SPECIAL HONORING LEGENDARY AFRICAN AMERICAN ARTISTS WHO HAVE INFLUENCED AND MADE SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTIONS TO AMERICAN MUSIC.
During the taping of the show, the following music icons will be honored:
• Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis
• Pastor Shirley Caesar
• Big Daddy Kane
• Dionne Warwick
• Clarence Avant
• Stax Records
The star-studded evening will be hosted by Malcolm-Jamal Warner. Tribute performances by Andra Day, Tina Campbell, Chubb Rock, Stokley Williams, and many more.
