Directed by Shawn Whitsell, and written and produced by Jené India, “A Way Out” depicts the relationship between four close friends, two whose marriages are falling apart from abuse. Together, these friends experience the ups and downs of friendship, marriage and dating. In addition to Jené India, “A Way Out” features performances by her wonderful mother René Marcus, Shawn Whitsell, founder of the Destiny Theatre Experience; Fiona Soul from 92Q Neo Soul Sundays; Rashad Rayford (talented spoken word artist); Damien Horne (singer/songwriter); Tamiko Robinson; Mary McCallum founder of SistaStyle Productions; Giada Lewis, Brett Wilson; Cortez Lee and Tyese Hunter.
