Rachel Roy Breaks Her Silence on the Jay Z Cheating Rumors

Since Beyoncé recently broke the internet, yet again, with her latest visual album, Lemonade, she's had everyone talking about the work, with one song, fan favorite "Sorry," being a huge topic of discussion. At the end of the song, Bey says, "He better call Becky with the good hair."

After the Beyhive made a connection that "Becky" could be designer Rachel Roy after she posted a photo on Instagram with the caption "Good hair don't care," rumors started swirling that she was the one who got in between the Carters. Now, Damon Dash's ex has released a statement addressing the rumors.

"I want to put the speculation and rumors to rest," she said in a statement to People. "My Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted, it was misunderstood as something other than that. There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors."

She went on to add that the real issue at hand is the cyber-bullying she and her family have experienced: "Consequently, online haters have targeted me and my daughters in a hurtful and scary manner, including physical threats," she said." As a mother — and I know many mothers would agree — I feel that bullying in any form is harmful and unacceptable. I would hope that the media sees the real issue here — the issue of cyber-bullying — and how it should not be tolerated by anyone."
