Rap News: Rick Ross Doing Better

Lil Wayne is taking Birdman back to court so he can see some paper.

In new filings in his lawsuit against Cash Money Records, Weezy accuses Birdman of withholding financial documents including accounting records, bank statements, ledgers and tax returns. Cash Money turned over 121,000 pages of legal documents, but Wayne's legal team says some key paperwork was missing. 

Wayne has launched a multi-prong offensive. He also took shots on a new track called "Vizine." In the second verse, he raps, "No one man should have all that power if he can't afford to pay the light bills," a reference to reports that Birdman could lose his Miami mansion over an unpaid $12 million loan. The song makes other allusions to Birdman taking advantage of his artists, too. The Bawse seems to have bounced back a bit. After a serious health scare late last week, Rick Ross is out of the hospital. 

The initial reports were around respiratory issues with word that pneumonia might be the culprit. But TMZ has consistently reported that he was actually suffering from an even more serious heart-related ailment. He was in the ICU and put on an ECMO, which helps with breathing and heart functions. He spent time in two different medical facilities due to the severity of his condition. TMZ says he's now getting in-home care.

Though he hasn't commented since coming home, Rozay has resumed some normal activities, like flashing jewelry on Instagram. He shared a picture with his 7.6 million followers late last night (Sunday). The photo shows off his new Rolex and some bracelets, all laced with VVS diamonds. In the caption, he didn't speak about his health or thank worried fans and friends for the well wishes. Instead, he simply wrote "#FloridaBoy."
