HONEY BOO BOO: Mama June's Dating a Sex Offender

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo matriarch Mama June has a new boyfriend, and he's an ex-con. But it's what he served 10 years for that's drawing a lot of criticism and concern.

Mama June, who announced last month that she and her longtime partner Sugar Bear have split up, is now reportedly dating 53-year-old Mark McDaniel. He was convicted in 2004 for molesting an 8-year-old child who also happens to be a close relative of Mama June's. She was actually dating McDaniel at the time of his conviction.

McDaniel was released from prison in March and is now a registered sex offender. A TLC spokesperson says, "We are very concerned about this new information and are reassessing the future of the series." (TMZ)
