DMX: Captain Save-a-Home

After all the lies and heartache, DMX must still have a lot of love for his ex-wife.

The Yonkers, New York rapper recently coughed up a big pile of cash to keep his ex-wife Tashera from losing the house he bought her to foreclosure. The Jasmine Brand reports that X was 1,403 days in default on a $500,000 mortgage he took out in 2004.

In May 2012, the lender demanded the full amount due — more than $250,000 -- and threatened to foreclose on the home when X refused to pay up. But now he has.
