Outkast fans will be disappointed to know that there isn't any new music on the way, according to Andre 3000. The rapper revealed in an interview with Billboard magazine that he hasn't recorded anything with Big Boi.

"There are no plans to do [an Outkast album]," he tells the magazine. "It’s not like some people think: ‘They’re about to drop this album!’ We don’t have, like, one song. There’s no trickery or nothing like that."

Despite the fact that he can command as much as $100,000 to do a guest feature, Andre needs inspiration, not just financial opportunity, to create. "At this age, the driver is just different, and I think for every artist, you’ve got to find out what’s pushing you," he says. "Like, what do you do it for? I didn’t grow up as a kid saying, 'Man, I want to grow up to be a music star.'"

Although there's no music projects in the works, 3 Stacks is focused on promoting his Jimi Hendrix biopic, Jimi: All Is by My Side, which is playing in theaters now.
