Two men involved in a single car accident in Lincoln, Nebraska tried to fool police by switching seats but they both ended up being cited for drunken driving, reports theLincoln Journal Star.

Investigators say when a police officer arrived on the scene early Monday morning of a 1996 Pontiac Grand Am that had plowed through a traffic circle and become stuck in the mud, Sean Walker was in the driver's seat.  However, when the officer got to the car, authorities say passenger Daniel Krupicka had switched seats and claimed he had been behind the wheel.  Police say both men had blood alcohol levels above the legal limit.

Walker was charged with negligent driving and drunken driving, while Krupicka was cited for no seatbelt and drunken driving.
