Will.i.am. Says New Educational Reality Show will be a Big Hit

It’s not always about entertainment, says Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am. He’s off on another entrepreneurial adventure, this time in reality television.

The artist wants to give children the opportunity to show off their baffling intelligence in a new “American Idol” type of show.

“Every year, companies like Google need more innovators, but there is no content celebrating them,” he said. “The system thinks people are dumb and they don’t care. We have no desire to make them care. We need creative people working with broadcasters, making smart content to inspire people to be geniuses.”

No word yet if talks to begin production have surfaced, but some positive television is certainly a necessity today.
