Why in the hell would leave a baby in a meth lab.....see what drugs can do!!!

SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. - A crime spree spanning five mid-state counties led authorities to two meth labs, at least 11 stolen vehicles, and dozens of guns.

It started when the Sumner County Sheriff's Department investigated a missing vehicles case.

That led them to a home in Bethpage, where they found several trucks that appeared to have been stripped down. Investigators soon discovered an active meth lab in the home and a five-month-old infant in the house.

Sheriff's deputies arrested Jeffrey Scott Kittrell for manufacturing meth and theft over a thousand dollars.

The case then led them to two other suspects, Joshua Temple and Joshua Caldwell. Both are charged with theft. Joshua Caldwell is still on the loose. Authorities believe he could be armed and dangerous.

Clues then led detectives to a home in Robertson County where they found another meth lab, more stripped vehicles and 40 guns.

More charges could be filed against the suspects including child endangerment.

Medical tests were conducted on the infant at the Bethpage location and the baby tested positive for meth.

"It's good we could catch this and have this problem corrected for the children but it is sad the child was infected with this drug," said Sumner County Sheriff Sonny Weatherford.

The child was put in DCS custody.
