That man who sneaked into the White House a few weeks ago got further than previously believed. On Monday, law enforcement officials confirmed that Omar Gonzales made it all the way to the East Room before he was tackled. That's the same room where President Obama and other previous commander-in-chiefs have made some of their biggest announcements.

This new information contradicts the previous claim by the Secret Service, which maintained that the 42-year-old from Texas was stopped by agents near the White House's front doors after he hopped the fence and sprinted more than 100 years to the first family's residence.
