DALLAS, Texas – Young was scheduled to make an appearance at Sunday night's annual Jeff Fisher and Friends charity softball game. The Titans said they have contacted Vince Young about the incident.
Police say Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young received an assault citation after a fight inside a Dallas strip club.
Dallas police Lt. Andy Harvey said the former University of Texas star was not at Club Onyx when police responded to a call of a physical confrontation early Sunday morning.
Harvey said an investigation led to Young receiving a Class C misdemeanor assault citation, punishable by a fine up to $500, but no arrests have been made.
Titans spokesman Robbie Bohren said the team was aware of the incident and had contacted Young. He said the team was still gathering information.
Young was the No. 3 pick in the 2006 draft after leading the Longhorns to a national championship.
