Urban Quick Hits: Original Titles of Rap Albums, Missy Elliott's Panic Attack, and Silkk the Shocker Doesn't Think He's the Worst Rapper

1. Uproxx.com has a list of the early titles for some now-well known rap albums, and some you may not have heard. For example, Eminem was going to name his second album "Amsterdam", before changing it to "The Marshall Mathers LP".

Cypress Hill's self-titled debut was initially called "America's Most Blunted", Puff Daddy's "No Way Out" was going to be titled "Hell Up in Harlem", and the Beastie Boys' debut "License to Ill" originally had a GAY SLUR in the title.

It was "Don't Be a [F-word]". Columbia refused to release it under that name, so the group changed it. Adam Horovitz has since apologized. (You can browse the whole list, here.)

2. MISSY ELLIOTT says she had a full blown panic attack the day before joining KATY PERRY onstage during the Super Bowl halftime show earlier this year.

She says, quote, "[There were] IVs in my arm, everything. Nobody knew." Ultimately, God got her up onstage to be a member of Katy's squad. Quote, "I said, 'If I can get over this [first] step, then I know all my dance steps will be on point.'

"I know it was nothing but the grace of God that lifted me up and took me through that performance."

3. SILKK THE SHOCKER doesn't like that he appeared on a list of the worst rappers of all time. He says, quote, "Whatever. It's an opinion."
