TYLER PERRY: "Spike Lee Can Go Straight to Hell"...Is That Christian-LIKE?

Tyler Perry has lashed out at his film-making rival Spike Lee, telling reporters during a press conference in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, "Spike can go straight to hell... I'm so sick of hearing about [him]. He talked about Whoopi, he talked about Oprah, he talked about me... Spike needs to shut the hell up."
The two have been publicly exchanging words since Spike described Perry's sitcoms Meet the Browns and House of Payne as "coonery" and "buffoonery."

I agree with Tyler Perry. Spike Lee had his opportunity and he should try to judge Tyler. Lets give everyone and opportunity to express themselves and let the public determine what they want to see or read from them. Spike Lee should remember his own fight and stand beside others that are coming up.

Spike Lee has always had an arrogant attitude. He just can't stand the fact that Tyler Perry is just as good, if not better, as he is. Hater.....but, where would we really be if we didn't have haters? Spike Lee is not the first to talk about and hate on Tyler's success and he won't be the last. I really pray that Tyler will stand to be the Christian he really is and not stoop to Spike's level.

A lot of people are going to hell and know it. In Spikes case, for him to judge Tyler is just as wrong as Tyler tellin him to go there. I personally do not care for the Browns or the Paynes because it undermines, to a degree, the "Step and Fetch em" image that African Americans have tried to get away from. Some people like it and I don't judge them. Either way, both Tyler and Spike are about making money and whatever they're doin in working. I can't judge and I ain't mad.

Just another sad situation of the brothers not sticking together and using their blessings and success for the common good of those trying to make it possible for others to make it in an already tough industry to get into. Let it go SPIKE!!!!!

It's a shame when we as Black people hate on each other in this manner! Tyler Perry is right, Spike Lee needs to shut the hell up! He's just mad at Tyler for his tremendous success and tenacity, and because Tyler had sense enough to take his earnings and build his own production studios, instead of letting Hollywood dictate what he could do! Keep doing what you're doing Tyler, I'm a big fan of all of your work!!

WOW....Spike Lee should use his talent to do what he do and keep Tyler's name out his mouth. I don't recall Steven Spielberg saying anything when Gary Marshall directs a movie.
