Two Univ. of Minn. Students Video in Black Face, Wildly Racist! (Video)

Two students from the University of Minnesota Duluth, Rachel Cooper and Jessica Heid, put on brown facial masks and perform racist rant.
We’ve seen all the black face and heard all the black jokes by now, but I guess it never gets old for some.  The new and improved buffoons taking to video to join in on old stereotypes are useless, sad, and plain not funny.

According to Color Lines, two girls from the University of Minnesota Duluth, that have been identified as Rachel Cooper and Jessica Heid, decided they would give themselves facials.  But wait! The facial mask is brown! Why not make a video about “ni%%#!s” They told their school newspaper, The Statesmen:

“We were doing facials and it happened to have been a brown facial mask,” Cooper wrote. “We had to leave it on for 12 minutes. During that 12 minutes, we horribly decided to make a video that we regret and are not happy about. This was made over a year ago.”
According to BET.com, the university’s chancellor Lendley Black responded to the incident saying:

“We have seen the video; we abhor it,” Lendley Black, the chancellor at the University of Minnesota Duluth, said in an email. “This is unacceptable behavior for anyone, and we at UMD are extremely unhappy to be associated with it in any way.”

And while the University of Minnesota makes this statement, they fail to report a penalty for the girls.  If you see a report out there that states what disciplinary action they received, please update us with the info.

While the video is said to have been removed from YouTube ”as a violation of policy that prohibits hate speech”, some people obviously were able to make sure it was seen through their own YouTube news channel.  The channel is LRJTV and the host IS funny.  Check out the video for yourself. SMH!
