TV Show Host Makes Shady “Racial” Remark

Host of Sunrise in Australia, Samantha Armytage, has received a lot of flack from her comment during the introduction of the bi-racial twins. In the interview, Armytage introduces the twins by describing the dominate gene that obviously affected their appearance. She is quoted as saying “Maria has taken after her half-Jamaican mum with dark skin, brown eyes and curly, dark hair”. That’s not the problem. The problem lies in how she introduced the other twin saying, “but Lucy got her dad’s fair skin — good on her — along with straight red hair and blue eyes.”

Good on her?!?!?  As to say what? What's so good on Lucy that is not good on Maria?

Her co-host reaction is priceless, much like when Mike Myers looked at Kanye when he said that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people”.

Samantha told News Corp Australia, that “I would be mortified if anyone thought I would say or think anything racist.” “It’s not in my nature. To anyone who I might have offended, I’m sorry.”

There is an online petition floating around the internet asking for the TV host to apologize to the twin.
