TUPAC: Bio-pic Headed to Production Early 2014

One of the most-anticipated bio-pics of all time is finally about to become a reality.

Plans to begin filming Tupc Shakur's long-awaited bio-pic are under way. With an estimated budget of $45 millions, Morgan Creek Productions and Emmett Furla Films are working close with Pac's mom, Afeni Shakur, who serves a producer, to get the ball rolling.

Even though there has yet to be an announcement about the cast of the film, simply titled Tupac, it will showcase Pac's iconic rise to stardom.

In a statement to Billboard, Afeni Shakur said, "My son left many incomplete pieces and even more unfinished ideas. Using the blueprints he gave us, I am committed to fulfilling this duty."

Production of Tupac will take place in Atlanta, starting in 2014.
