It's becoming increasingly more difficult to be a Toys R Us kid. The toy store, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last year, announced it is closing another 182 stores, or about 20 percent of its properties.
The company has 880 stores across the country but is trying to fend off competition from online stores and discount chains. It may take a few months for the company to decide which stores to close, and it's possible it might still decide to keep some open as a combined Toys R Us/Babies R Us store, but they're already planning going-out-of-business sales to begin next month.
