Today is the 40th Anniversary of the release of "The Mack"

The movie, for all of its "Blaxploitation" hit on some serious social issues like police brutality, drug abuse, and yes pimpin' that plagued the black community.

It wasn't like you could just snap off in a movie back in these days.

The soundtrack is still one of the best EVER.
