JENNIFER HUDSON: Welcomes a Baby Boy

Jennifer Hudson gave birth to a baby boy late Monday. Named for his father, Hudson's fiance, David Daniel Otunga Junior weighed in at seven pounds, 14 ounces. The Hollywood Reporter's Roger Friedman reports that the couple -- who never announced the pregnancy -- didn't know the sex of the baby in advance, so they bought blue and pink clothes, just in case. Hudson's reps didn't return our calls for comment.

C-MURDER: Convicted

After coming back deadlocked on Monday, a Louisiana jury convicted Corey "C-Murder" Miller of second-degree murder yesterday in relation to the January 2002 death of 16-year-old Steve Thomas. Miller was convicted of second-degree murder in 2003, but that verdict was overturned when it was revealed that prosecutors had hidden several witnesses' criminal backgrounds in hopes of boosting their credibility.

According to Louisiana law, Miller must serve a mandatory sentence of life in prison.

USHER: Sued by Plumber

Usher is being sued by a plumber who claims he never got paid for work he did on Ush's bathroom. According to T-M-Z, Bobo's Plumbing in Georgia says it never received payment for more than two-thousand dollars worth of renovations to Usher's Georgia mansion in 2007. The job included the installation of a shampoo bowl in the home's private salon and all the plumbing in one bathroom. Bobo's is asking for the right to sell the home and take its payment from the proceeds should the bill not be paid. Usher's reps didn't respond to our calls for comment.

GUCCI MANE: Rehab Stint?

Gucci Mane will reportedly do a stint in rehab. Police in Georgia are looking to arrest him after he failed a routine drug test last month. But MediaTakeOut.com is reporting that Gucci has worked out a deal to enter a drug rehabilitation facility for "a few weeks." Gucci Mane's reps didn't return our calls for comment.
