White Teacher Makes Child Porn with Two Black Victims

Scott Myers's family tried to get him out of jail, but a Federal magistrate ruled he's a threat to society. Federal prosecutors said the former teacher was making his own child pornography at home. During Monday's hearing, Federal magistrate Juliet Griffin told the courtroom, the former teaching assistant would be too tempted by the internet to be home with his parents.

Courtroom testimony painted Scott Myers a conflicted man: a 27-year-old, torn between mentoring young children and an online sexual obsession. Inside Myers's Franklin apartment, investigators retrieved two laptop computers with a combined 3,800 images of child porn. They also found two young boys living with Myers: a 12-year-old and 14-year-old. They are African American brothers from a broken home. Myers had met them at church.

Prosecutors also maintained, Myers under the screen name "Anonymouse 1177" boasted in an online chat room about being with four underage boys.

"Yeah, it was very hot," Myers wrote, according to an affidavit. "Only been with black, but it was great!"
The brothers could turn-out to be the feds' star witnesses.

In Myers's defense, the two boys, according to the lead investigator, have not testified that Myers sexually violated them. A federal prosecutor told the court, children victims often recant their story. A detective told the court, 63 of Myers's online images included the two brothers, always sleeping, often with their underwear pulled down.

Lottery officials confirmed a Powerball ticket worth $200,000 for Saturday's drawing was sold in Murfreesboro. So far no one has come forward, so be sure to check your tickets. The winning numbers are 18, 20, 34, 36, 39, and the Powerball is 19.

Pam Murray Recall Election Moves Forward

District 5 Council member Pam Murray was suing to stop a recall election from happening. A judge denied her request. A petition, signed by close to a thousand voters prompted the request for a special election. Some have been upset with Murray's performance as a council member. In court, Monday afternoon her attorney testified some of the signatures were not worth the paper, they were printed on.

"She has established that right that she will suffer irreparable harm if an election based on incorrect information is certified, or if there is a recall based on incorrect information," said Murray's attorney, Mark Baugh. Murray's attorney also claimed the petition to unseat the council member was not filed the right way, and violated a Metro Charter. Attorney Baugh also testified the signatures on the petition, were not properly dated.

SEAN "DIDDY" COMBS: Departs but Leaves Bad Boy Behind

Variety reports Sean "Diddy" Combs' recent departure from the Warner Music Group was a result of company downsizing. Warner Brothers implemented staff cuts last week, with around a dozen staffers exiting. Combs announced he was leaving the company last week, but his acts on the Bad Boy imprint -- such as Day 26 -- will remain, as will his catalog. It may not have helped that Diddy didn't produce much success during his time with the label. He released one disc, Press Play, in 2006.

Insiders speculate that Diddy's forthcoming disc, Last Train to Paris, will be released on Interscope.

The Internal Revenue Service has filed a tax lien of 337-thousand dollars against Patti LaBelle.
